Two days ago
I rejoiced
when cloud cleared
tearing off its fluffy cloak
dropping droplets of rain
few at first
then some more
and then many more
with a whoosh sound
of its soft breeze
and I was content,
but that was two days ago
now it is back
to its scorching heat,
with just a trickle
of sticky sweat on my cheeks.
